This strategic move strengthens our commitment to representing diverse talent, and we’re thrilled to welcome Actus Reus, The Archaic Epidemic, Reflection of Fest, Skulldozer, and Shrine of Malace to the Prysm family.
Each of these bands brings their own unique sound and intense energy, capturing the essence of what makes heavy metal one of the most passionate and devoted music scenes in the world. From the aggressive thrash of Actus Reus to the dark and haunting atmosphere of Shrine of Malace, our new roster represents a thrilling range of talent that will undoubtedly leave a mark on the heavy metal community.
At the helm
Leading this new division is Brian Lachman, who brings a wealth of experience and passion for heavy metal to the role. As the head of our Metal division, Brian has been instrumental in curating this roster and guiding the future direction of Prysm in this new genre.

Actus Reus brings a raw intensity with its high-energy thrash sound, while The Archaic Epidemic blends classic metal influences with a modern twist, creating an unforgettable musical experience. Reflection of Fest pushes the boundaries of progressive metal, creating complex, intricate compositions that captivate listeners. Skulldozer delivers an unrelenting blend of doom and sludge metal, with crushing riffs and powerful vocals. Finally, Shrine of Malace fuses atmospheric black metal with haunting melodies, creating a soundscape that resonates with listeners on a deeply emotional level.
