With offices in Los Angeles and Detroit, we’re expanding our in-house marketing and publicity team to elevate our brand and amplify our talent—and we’re looking for a savvy, driven PR Associate to join us.

Position Overview:
As a PR Associate at Prysm Talent Agency, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the public image of our artists and agency. You’ll work closely with artists, managers, media outlets, and our internal team to craft compelling narratives, secure media placements, and manage communications across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of music culture, strong media instincts, and a love for storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and execution of PR strategies for Prysm artists and brand initiatives

• Pitch and secure media coverage in print, digital, and broadcast outlets

• Draft press releases, media alerts, bios, and other communications materials

• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, editors, and influencers

• Coordinate press interviews, red carpet appearances, and media opportunities

• Monitor media coverage, compile press clippings, and generate reports

• Collaborate with marketing, social media, and talent teams to align messaging

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in PR, communications, or music/entertainment marketing

• Existing relationships with entertainment and music media is a strong plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational abilities

• Passion for music and understanding of artist branding and fan engagement

• Hybrid role; living in or near Los Angeles or Detroit is a plus
